Nikki & Pat’s Chic Engagement Session at Architect’s Golf Club

One year before they say “I do,” Nikki and Pat met me at their wedding venue, Architect’s Golf Club in Phillipsburg, NJ, for an engagement session that felt like a magazine editorial.

They showed up in the perfect golf-inspired outfits — with Nikki in all white, naturally. We wandered the course, whipped around in our carts, paused for elegant moments on the greens, and let the setting do what it does best. It was equal parts chic and playful, and so true to who they are together: fun, easygoing, and effortlessly in sync.

These two actually started as coworkers. After a couple years of being just friends, Pat asked Nikki to dinner on Valentine’s Day in 2019, and they’ve been together ever since. He proposed at home with rose petals, candles, and balloons. It was a full surprise, since Nikki was convinced it wasn’t happening anytime soon.

Photographing them at the venue where they’ll be getting married next June made the whole session feel that much more meaningful, AND made for the most ICONIC save the date.

If this is what their engagement session looked like… just wait for the main event.

There’s something about spending time at your venue before the big day, when it’s just the two of you, no timeline, no pressure. If that sounds like your kind of session, let’s chat.
