Content Creation: A Romantic, Candlelit Wedding at Hotel Bethlehem
Megan & Chris’s winter wedding at Hotel Bethlehem had this quiet, moody kind of magic to it. The cherry red details, the candlelight, the way the room transformed after dark — it all came together in such an effortlessly romantic way.
They got married on a chilly February day, surrounded by 58 of their favorite people — which made the day feel so intentional and intimate. Every little detail had them written all over it, from the dreamy, cascading bouquet Megan carried (seriously… the longest bouquet I’ve ever seen and somehow she made it look effortless) to the custom matchbooks with their pup’s face on them.
The ceremony and reception space was stunning. Think: grand arched windows, chandeliers glowing overhead, and soft afternoon light pouring into a room that already feels like old-world romance. Once the sun set and the candles were lit, it was a total transformation — warm, moody, & magic. Cherry red centerpieces and florals popped against the classic green and gold details, and the room was buzzing in that just-right way: relaxed, joyful, & full of love (and espresso martinis flowing all night).
These two go way back — like, middle school camping trips kind of back. They reconnected in college when their best friends started dating, and they’ve been together ever since. Almost seven years later, Chris proposed on Christmas during what Megan thought was just a casual walk at their favorite spot.
The ceremony was sweet and simple. Megan and Chris said their own vows which made it feel extra personal. From there, the whole night had the best kind of laid-back, happy energy. A few standout songs that set the tone:
Bridal party entrance: “City of Stars” - Ryan Gosling & Emma Stone
Ceremony recessional: “I Got You Babe” – Sonny & Cher
First dance: “Bathroom Light” – Mt. Joy
Final song of the night: “Wonderful Tonight” – Eric Clapton
I captured their day both on iPhone + vintage camcorder, which added such a nostalgic layer to the whole story. The dreamy lighting, the real-time reactions, the clinking of glasses — it all feels even more special when it's a little bit grainy and imperfect in the best way.
Grateful to have documented a day that felt so full of love, good energy, personal touches, and espresso martinis (important).
If you’re planning your wedding and dreaming of having every detail & candid memory captured, I’d love to be part of it. Let’s create something beautiful together.
